Sherrills Ford-Terrell Fire and Rescue has received a new fire boat. Designated as Fire Boat 16, the new fire boat will replace an older department boat with extremely limited capabilities, said Fire Chief Rick Davis.

RotoMoldUSA will expand the focus of its rotational molding facilities to manufacture U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved plastic pallets for shipping medical supplies nationwide, while still manufacturing boat lift tanks to keep up with continued demand. These pallets are re-useable, due to the smooth surface which lessens the transmission of bacteria and viruses, are non-porous and easy to sanitize.
