DEALER SPOTLIGHT – HAROLD BEASLEY OF DUSKIN POINT MARINA

DEALER SPOTLIGHT – HAROLD BEASLEY OF DUSKIN POINT MARINA

Written by HydroHoist Marketing

Harold Beasley, of Alabama, has been a HydroHoist Dealer for 31 years. He describes his relationship with HydroHoist®, LLC as “thirty-one years of excellent business” and “honored to be a dealer for America’s #1 Boat Lift”.

The Beasley’s HydroHoist dealership has ranked as a Top Five Dealer for 24 consecutive years and has won Dealer of the Year three times.

Harold Beasley retired from Hayes Aircraft in August, 1986 and has owned Duskin Point Marina since November, 1986. He became a HydroHoist Dealer in 1987.

“The Beasley family has been a staple in the HydroHoist dealer network.  Harold was one of the first HydroHoist Dealers I signed up when I started working for HydroHoist. It has been amazing to see how far we have come as friends and business partners,” said CEO Mick Webber.

One of the most challenging boat lift projects Mr. Beasley has encountered in his 31 years is the 28,000 UL Series lift that was installed on Lewis Smith Lake last year.

“I am accustomed to the older C and H model boat lifts that had a capacity of 4,000 – 8,000 pounds. To have the lifting capacity of up to 32,000 pounds truly shows the innovation and dedication of the HydroHoist team,” said Beasley.

Another challenge is teaching his grandson, Phillip -the owner of HydroHoist of Alabama- the boatlift side of the business. Phillip recently purchased the boat lift division and is learning the ins and outs of running the business.

“The trends we are seeing here on Smith Lake, and really all over Alabama, are that pontoons, tritoons, and wakeboard boats are becoming extremely popular,” said Beasley.

HydroHoist of Alabama is also in the process of building a brand new facility to accommodate the growing business. The opening is scheduled for January 1, 2019.

Mr. Beasley enjoys playing golf and spending time at the local country club but he is also very active with the lake community and local charities.
