Dealer Spotlight: Rick’s Boat Lifts

RICK’S BOAT LIFTS ON TABLE ROCK LAKE

Rick - Table Rock LakeThe beautiful Ozark Mountain Country of southwestern Missouri is home to one of the nation’s most popular entertainment and leisure destinations, Branson, Missouri.  Situated just 10 miles from Branson lays Table Rock Lake, spanning more than 43 thousand acres and 800 miles of shoreline.  This perennial favorite vacation spot is where Rick Swanson, owner of Rick’s Boat Lifts on Table Rock Lake, was raised and grew to love marina life.

In 1977, Rick began working at Kimberling Marina, which his family eventually purchased along with Boat Dock 13, to form Port of Kimberling.  Swanson began working with boat lifts and doing contract work for Curtis Ramsey, an authorized HydroHoist dealer on Table Rock Lake.  In 1996, Swanson became a HydroHoist dealer; then, ten years later took over the HydroHoist Distribution Center at Table Rock Lake.

40,000 Mega L - Table Rock Lake InstallIn a recent interview, he recounts one of his most memorable HydroHoist lifts installed on Table Rock Lake, an ever “evolving” 40,000 pound Mega L.

“We have sold this lift twice since its initial installation,” describes Swanson. “Each subsequent buyer has made the lift smaller.  Now it is currently a 24,000 pound lift.”

“We have two of the 38 feet tanks from the original lift allowing us to put it in as a 40,000 pound lift again if requested.”

40,000 Mega L - Table Rock LakeRick along with the corporate team at HydroHoist Marine Group recently installed a specialty lift for the Western Taney County Fire District to launch their rescue boat in under four minutes.

“It has been an honor to work alongside with Rick Swanson and his team on projects such as the Fireboat lift,” explained Mick Webber, CEO of HydroHoist Marine Group.  “As an authorized HydroHoist Boat Lift dealer, Rick represents the name and our credo well by having the best people and processes.”
